Strategist

As a strategist at Plan – a consultancy that specialises in product experiences – I have helped clients such as Samsung, Nokia and Microsoft to analyse key trends impacting their industries, plan for coherent portfolios and generate new business concepts.

Projects have led to carrying out qualitative research around the world in destinations including China, India, Thailand, Mexico and Brazil. I plan, lead and manage global projects and have helped to develop Plan’s capabilities within the area of visual strategy, portfolio strategy and innovation projects.

My background is in Industrial Design and in 2008 I identified an opportunity to create a range of furniture that responded to the needs of small space city living. This led to receiving the ‘Homes & Gardens Young Designer of the Year’ and the ‘ELLE Decoration New Designer Award’ in 2012.

All the products were acquired by the Italian brand Ex.t. The range of furniture and accessories created for Ex.t has continued to grow, with the products exhibited, retailed and specified internationally. Further designs been commissioned by, Heals, Authentics and Liberty – with more in the pipeline.

When it comes to creating neat, versatile furniture with more than one function, industrial designer Alex Bradley certainly has the knack.

I am a contributor to the trends and news section of Architonic's website, which receives over 16 million visits a year. My trend-based articles have been published in titles such as 'The Interior Design Yearbook’.

Further commissions include strategic content marketing for brands, such as Boffi and Orgatec – a leading international trade fair for Office and Facility – and the only trade fair to present the whole world of work.
